LAUREL, Md. — For the first time, the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) is launching a four-day Spanish-language adaptation of its Virtual Basic Stain Removal Course. The November course will be taught fully in Spanish, the organization says, and not through a translator.
Gina Hernandez of Ortega Cleaners, a DLI professional member in San Juan Capistrano, California, will instruct this course in tandem with DLI Education Director Brian Johnson.
The live, online course is specially designed for Spanish-speaking individuals who wish to enhance their stain removal skills with professional techniques, DLI says.
The course will be conducted 1 to 3 p.m. Eastern daily on Nov. 11, 13, 18 and 20. For more information or to register, visit DLIonline.org/Education.

DLI will host a webinar, “Create an Engaged Team that CARES,” on Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. Eastern. Presented by industry marketing expert Dave Coyle of Maverick Drycleaners, the webinar will focus on how engaged employees can benefit a business’ bottom line, and offer some examples of tactics that work. The event is free to DLI members.
